The event “The Gods’ sounds”, that began on 6th May 2009, was born from an idea of the Pelagos Association and the Praiano Municipality and now it has reached its second edition. This festival combines the passion for music and the love for the environment through a series of classical and contemporary music concerts realized along the celebrated and enchanting Gods Path, in the Regional Park of the Lattari Mounts (Amalfi Coast).
The concerts take place in a special setting, formed by some picturesque views of the path, as the church square of Santa Maria a Castro, Li Cannati, Colle Serra and the remains of some rupestrian dwellings.
The programme for 2009 is composed by different sections: “Classical Music”, “Full Moon Nights”, that are concerts in the moonlight, “Enchanting Grottoes”, a section that will contain some concerts inside some picturesque grottoes and sea inlets.
The well known pianist and composer Ludovico Einaudi will take part to the festival with a special concert (Saturday 18th July) that will take place at sunset at the Santa Maria a Castro convent, to make the participants live a unique and touching experience.
The appointments of this edition will take place every Wednesday of the month starting from May until 28th October 2009.
