September 22nd, 2008Views:2787
This month the Travel&Culture section of It-Schools is enriched by some information about Cervia, one of the most popular seaside resorts in Emilia Romagna, also reknown as a spa town that is connected to the special features of its mud baths, derived from the saltpans’activities.
Cervia has got a particularly interesting history, that is strongly interlaced with its territory, characterized by a magnificent pinewood, by the sea and the saltpans.
The town is also situated in a position which is strategic to reach some medieval villages of historical and artistic interest as Bertinoro, Santarcangelo di Romagna, Bagnacavalllo and Brisighella.
Moreover, Cervia offers, from the naturalistic point of view, the possibility to visit the saltpans (a natural reserve with 827 hectares of territory), the luxuriant pinewood and the “House of butterflies” with its colours and its … lovely inhabitants (the butterflies).
Cervia is a very active seaside resort: you can find any kind of event and show all year round, in relationship with culture, gastronomy, sports and entertainment.
Then meeting Cervia also means to taste the typical dishes of the cooking from Romagna and to know better the deliciousness of its piadine and of the fish prepared according to tradition.
So, if you want to know something more about the culture from Romagna that characterizes Cervia, just visit the pages of Travel&Culture and you will have the occasion to start tasting the beauty of Romagna!
Have a good navigation!!
