Learning Italian and much more!
Our school La Lingua La Vita is situated in the green heart of Italy in the hilltop town of Todi.
Group courses are held Monday to Friday from 09.00 to 13.00 with particular emphasis on developing students’ communicative skills.
At the end of the course participants will be required to take an exam to assess the level of achievement and will be awarded an attendance certificate.
TODI
Todi is a small charming Medieval hilltop village overlooking the Tiber valley. According to a very ancient legend it was founded by the Veii Umbri on the site where an eagle dropped a cloth it had grabbed from their feast table. In fact the town’s shield depicts an eagle with open wings holding a cloak.

The first name given to the town was Tutere which means border and possibly refers to the lands lived by the Estruscans who populated the banks of the river Tiber.
Todi reached its prime during the Middle Ages when its most prestigious civil and religious buildings stand today as the town’s landmarks.
In view of its prime location this is the ideal place to study Italian. The small town atmosphere offers a friendly and welcoming environment where students and host families can bond and you become actively involved in the everyday life of this community.

La Lingua La Vita is located in the historical centre of Todi opposite the XVII century Town Theatre and only a minute away from the main square. Todi has one of the most beautiful Medieval squares in Italy and was the meeting ground for the aristocracy in The Roman Age and to this day preserves its importance as the political, financial and social centre for the local community.
The lush green countryside surrounding Todi has an incredible variety shades and tones of colours and not surprisingly has become the home of many artists and professionals from all over the world who want to escape the stress of everyday life.

Todi and its surroundings offer the choice of a new life full of the richness of lost values of modern society. The slow pace of life allows you to ponder on the meaning of things in the silence of the woods, in the open spaces and develop the depth of human relationships.
