Ragusa and its territory: a Unesco heritage of Mankind

In the Travel&Culture section, you will find the last It-Schools publication that about the town of Ragusa and its territory, that have become a Unesco heritage thanks to their beauty and originality.

In the town centre you can admire the art of remarkable Baroque palaces and of magnificent churches, among which Santa Maria delle Scale, one of the oldest buildings of Ragusa that probably dates back to the Norman period.

The natural landscape of Ragusa is characterized by flourishing fields planted with carobs, olive trees, almond trees, oranges and vines, but also by the nearby sea of Marina di Ragusa, a famous seaside resort.

Moreover, you can enjoy the events that are organized in town all year round or you can taste the appetizing dishes of the Ragusa cooking and the typical products of this territory.
