Emilia Romagna conquests American TV audiences

In January 2007 we’ll be able to see our Emilia Romagna as the protagonist of an American program hosted by Todd English, chef-entrepreneur and undisputed guru of American housewives (his program on Pbs network reaches 90 million TV audiences).
Some traditional dishes of Emilia and Romagna will be laid bare in an episode of the program hosted by this chef, entitled “Food trip for English”, which will point out the food and wine richness of our region.
So, Todd English will deal with our regional typicality: the Bolognese Apennines’ white truffle (magnatum pico), the delicious Parmesan cheese with its unique and original recipe and, finally, piadine (flat bread typical of Romagna), ‘Strozzapreti’ (a kind of home-made pasta) and Sangiovese wine, that are all typical of Romagna.
This is a surely exciting and delightful tour, because of its tastes, smells, traditions and culture, which will not leave American gourmet cold.
And it won’t even leave us cold because, once again, we’ll have an interesting opportunity to realize the richness of Italian territory and traditions: a combination of hardly imitable tastes and culture.
