The greatest masterpieces of Antonello da Messina (1430-1479) are at last welcome guests at the Scuderie del Quirinale until 25th June, in an exhibition dedicated to the celebrated Sicilian painter.

For the first time a monographic exhibition is set about works and life of this artist, who is little known, because of the dearth of news about him.

Antonello da Messina could be described as one of the South Italy’s greatest Renaissance painters and also as the most refined leading exponent of the Fleming painting in Italy.
